CBGC, WWE NXT UK & NSPCC ‘Call Out Bullying’
CBGC welcomed the superstars of WWE to the city in March, hosting an anti-bullying dodgeball event. Here, Trent Seven, Ashton Smith, Xia Brookside and Nina Samuels swapped the wrestling ring for the dodgeball court, though the action was just as competitive!
The visit took place in association with WWE and the NSPCC, and featured a fun and inspiring chat on the types of bullying that young people may face, providing the children and parents in attendance with useful coping strategies and solutions on how to deal with such a sensitive but significant issue.
This was one of my most favourite days of my life!

Wolverhampton born wrestler Trent Seven, began by asking if anyone in the room had ever been the victim of bullying. In response, everyone including all the adults quickly shot their hands in the air. He was quick to reassure the youngsters, saying: “Even pro wrestlers get bullied”.
