The MAC Project
The MAC Project (Music and Change) works with young people aged 10-19, offering services such as crime diversion and prevention programmes along with reparation and community service. The MAC Project is open to all, and is particularly valuable to those who may feel disconnected with their current education or need a positive environment to keep them away from the streets.
There is an increased acknowledgement of the positive impact
that music, art sport and fitness has in guiding young people, towards a more positive path.
The MAC Project has been designed to support young people by
inspiring them to be aspirational. Our aim is to divert young people away from the perils of violence
by utilising the art forms of music and poetry.
Music and Media
Our services in music production and poetry provide a creative platform for young individuals to express themselves and develop their artistic talents. Learn the fundamentals of music production, including recording, mixing, and editing, and explore the art of poetry through writing and performance.
Boxing and Fitness
Our boxing and fitness services empower youth through tailored sessions for beginners and experienced boxers, promoting discipline, confidence, and teamwork. Guided by professional coaches, young participants can work towards becoming accredited boxers.
Hair and Beauty
Our youth services in beauty and body confidence offer a supportive environment where young individuals can find their personal style while building self-esteem. We empower youth to embrace their unique beauty and develop a positive self-image
TRACY by Denzel Kira (Poet 49)
Tracy is a short film and poetry piece written, performed and directed by young poet, Denzel Kira (Poet 49). Produced with the MAC Project, featuring many young talented actors and perfomers.
Exploring the realities of domestics & gang culture through poetry & film. 'TRACY' sheds light on the harsh truths of these issues.

Premiered at Warwick Arts Centre on Saturday 23rd September 2023 to a sell out audience, and subsequently released on digital platforms, the film went on to be nominated for the National Crimebeat Awards 2023.
